Big Lake Brewing
Founded in 2009, we started as the brainchild of three engineers living in Holland, Michigan. Two of us were devoted home brewers for years, working in a garage with a Sabco Brewmagic and perfecting our recipes. That half barrel system eventually turned into a three barrel system in a 3000 square foot pub with sixty seats. With an emphasis on quality ingredients, consistent recipes, and a passion for quality control, our three barrel system soon turned into a seven barrel system with a small canning line. Within three years of opening the pub, demand grew and we opened a production facility with a fifteen barrel brewhouse. A year later we moved out of the 3000 square foot pub into a 7000 square foot brewery with a full kitchen. Growth hasn’t come easy for us, but with a foundation built around quality, consistency, and a passion for good beer, Big Lake Brewing has grown more than we could have imagined and we’re excited to see what the future holds.
