We have made the decision to close all public spaces at the FIA and the FIA Art School effective tomorrow, Saturday, March 14. Sloan Museum of Discovery is now open with four all-new hands-on primary gallery spaces. Located in the beautiful Cultural Center campus in Flint, Michigan, this re-imagined museum is 107,000 square feet featuring the Hagerman Street Early Childhood Learning Center; Discovery Hall science gallery; the History Gallery; and the Durant Gallery historic vehicle showroom. The Exhibition Hall will opening in July 2023 for traveling exhibits. Fun for kids and adults!

Longway Planetarium is Michigan’s largest planetarium, and presents educational and entertaining shows exploring astronomy and science topics every day of the week. Longway Planetarium also offers a wide variety of hands-on science field trips, Scout programs, summer camps, and public events throughout the year. New shows debut three times per year.

While Buick Gallery is closed for repairs, over 30 automobiles representing a cross section of Sloan Museum’s Vehicle Collection are on exhibition at Sloan Museum’s Courtland Center Mall location. A variety of automobiles are on display, including concept cars, trucks, and classic cars dating from the early 1900s to the late 1980s.
