The weather and crop failures of local farmers affects all markets that only only local producers (we do not allow resellers) Our vendors only sell what they or their families grow or make. We open early with whats available and sometimes that may only be handmade items with a little produce such as lettuce (cool weather crops) if vendors didn't get froze out that year. We have a great bunch of vendors, but they can not all attend every single market day. Emergencies arise, farms need attending, and sometimes you just need a break from farming and selling and need a vacation with your family. It's hard work and very time consuming.
