WNMU Museum invites you to explore the prehistory and history of Southwest New Mexico and learn why people throughout the ages have selected this rich and enchanting region as their home. The recently completed stunning transformation of Fleming Hall, funded by the 2016 Higher Education G.O. Bond, created an open, light, secure, and climate-controlled environment that highlights our National Register of Historic Places building, collections, and exhibitions enhancing the visitor experience. The Museum is a work in progress. We continue to enhance the visitor experience by finishing exhibitions, creating interpretative signage, and opening additional rooms. Western New Mexico University Museum is the home of the NAN Ranch Collection—the largest and most complete collection of Mimbres materials in existence from a single prehistoric Mimbres site, and the largest and most comprehensive permanent interpretative exhibition of Mimbres pottery and artifacts in the world.

Troon North Golf Club Monument Course
The Monument Course, which opened in 1990, was conceived by legendary golfer Tom Weiskopf and Architect Jay Morrish. In 2007, the course underwent a major renovation project, led by Tom Weiskopf. An entirely new playing experience was created by exchanging its front nine holes with the front nine of its sibling course, the Pinnacle Course, and changing the sequence in which the holes are played. Hallmarks of the course include balance, variety and immaculate course conditions.
