The Tram is a popular destination for tourists, locals and people just looking to try something fun. The lower tram terminal is at the intersection of South Moody Avenue & Gibbs Street --the most transportation-diverse intersection in the country. Besides one of the nation's only aerial commuter trams, you'll see cars, buses, a streetcar, a soaring pedestrian bridge, a cycle track and the densest bike parking in America's #1 biking city. Bike valet is offered free to the public at Portland Aerial Tram Monday through Friday. Exiting the upper terminal you'll see the largest enclosed sky bridge in North America. Take a right to access an outdoor patio with seating and views of the terminal, the cityscape, the Willamette River and, on a clear day, Mount Hood and Mount St Helens. The upper terminal links to the 4T Trail--a self-guided tour by train, trail, tram and trolley. Much of Marquam Hill is a natural area with several trails.

Historic Funderland Amusement Park is now open for its 2024 78th Anniversary season! First opened in 1946, Funderland continues to delight generations of Northern California families. California Historical Landmark No. 334. Mission San Jose was founded on June 11, 1797 by Father Fermin Francisco de Lasuen. This was the 14th of twenty-one Spanish missions established in Alta California. A tour through Old Mission San Jose’s historic facilities includes the Mission Museum, the Church, the historic Cemetery, and the Garden. In the Museum, an 18-minute video depicts Spanish exploration and the 1797 founding of the mission as well as day-to-day living within the mission. See Ohlone Indian artifacts, religious objects from the Franciscan period, and items from the Mission and Rancho eras. The Church is a reconstruction of the 1830s mission adobe church, built with the materials and using construction methods of that time. It also contains the rare Rosales Opus 14 Spanish Organ. The cemetery holds the graves of many prominent Spanish and American settlers, and the rose garden includes a fountain and plantings representing the original mission period.
