Eagle Butte Coal Mine Tours
We are known as the Energy Capital of the Nation – it’s our identity and foundation. Campbell County is a 4,700 square mile rectangle of primarily grasslands over extensive sub-bituminous coal deposits, some of which were so close to the surface that early settlers could dig their own coal.
