Yale University Art Gallery is the oldest college art museum in America. The Gallery’s encyclopedic holdings of more than 250,000 objects range from ancient times to the present day and represent civilizations from around the globe. Spanning a block and a half of the city of New Haven, Connecticut, the Gallery comprises three architecturally distinct buildings, including a masterpiece of modern architecture from 1953 designed by Louis Kahn through which visitors enter. The museum is free and open to the public.

Lehigh Gorge trains, a trademark of the Reading and Northern Railroad, take a 70 minute round-trip tour following the Lehigh River over bridges, through Glen Onoko, into the Lehigh Gorge State Park. High-rising cliffs and mountain scenery surround the train along the route to Old Penn Haven. You will see hikers, rafters, mountain bikers, and wildlife along the railroad. You will learn about railroad lore, wildlife, the history of the anthracite coal region, and the people who launched America into the Industrial Age. For shopping near Cleveland, the SouthPark Mall is a favored destination. The mall hosts Dillard's and Macy's department stores, over 175 restaurants and shops and a Cinemark movie theater in Strongsville, OH. Find the shopping center at Royalton and Howe, just west of I-71.

Great Northern Mall near Cleveland hosts shopping, Macy's and JCPenney department stores, Dick's Sporting Goods store, and over 120 more shops and restaurants. The mall is twelve miles southwest of Cleveland on I-480. Find convenient family parking near the H&M and Dillard's mall entrances.

The Sanctuary's living museum is home to over 30 different species of native songbirds and raptors, that due to an injury can no longer survive in the wild. These birds permanently reside at that Sanctuary as ambassadors for their species. All live bird displays are outside and wheelchair and stroller accessible. Parking is limited. Please do not park along the entrance drive or on Orweiler Road. An admission fee to enter the bird display area supports the care of our birds. $3/ child (under 2 years free) and $5/adult (16 years and over) $3 for military and individuals residing in assisted living centers. No entry or hiking the trails before or after open hours (Open: Tues-Sat 10am-4pm, Sun 12 noon-4pm)
