Myriad Botanical Gardens is one of Oklahoma City’s most beloved public spaces, offering its visitors a 15 acre natural escape in the heart of downtown. A half-acre children’s garden, an off-leash dog park, splash fountains, and paths for walking and jogging provide guests young and old with a place to seek solitude with nature, or seek community and the company of others. The Gardens offers a variety of horticultural education programs for adults and children. The centerpiece attraction of the Gardens is the Inasmuch Foundation Crystal Bridge Conservatory. Its unique design has earned attention and praise in the architectural community. It is 224 feet long, 70 feet in diameter, and is covered by 3,028 sections of translucent, double-layered acrylic panels. After an 18-month, $11 million renovation, it reopened to the public on November 18, 2022.

We’re doing things at Moonrise Distillery like they’ve been done since the early 1950s. While it seems like an old-fashioned, inefficient process, our use of tried and true methods and time consuming double-distillation removes impurities for a more refined sipping bourbon and rye whiskey. And unlike most distillers, we let our spirits tell us when they are ready - aging by taste and not by time. We also craft small batch vodka, artisan gin and brandy. Our mountain distillery setting is the perfect place to enjoy a souvenir tasting tour and then relax and enjoy our craft cocktails. Our venue features an 80 foot long covered front porch with view of Black Rock Mountain, an outdoor grotto and fire pit area. We also host live music at our music pavilion complete with turf lawn. We are open for tours Monday through Saturday except Wednesday from 11am to 5pm. We remain open for cocktails and relaxation until 8pm. Our Sunday hours are 12;30 to 8. Using unique combinations of aromatic yeast strains, domestic and imported hops and award-winning malt varietys, Sugar Creek infuses traditional recipes with modern tastes and techniques to create beer that nourishes both mind and body. Sugar Creek Tap Room Mon-Wed: 4pm - 9pm Thursday: 4pm - 10pm Friday: 2pm - 10pm Saturday: 11am- 10pm Sunday: 12pm - 8pm Tighten the ropes and raise the sails, the Sugar Creek Brewing Co. Tap room is where your exploration begins! We have constructed a large taproom and private event room and staffed it with kind, courteous and knowledgeable beertenders. On tap you will find all of our year-round beers as well as seasonal and small-batch releases. Beers are available by the glass, 4 oz. Tasting flights, and growler fills via our Pegas CrafTap growler filler. The taproom is open for exploration seven days a week! Sugar Creek Private Event Room Adjacent to our taproom is our 1700 sqft private event room, complete with a private outdoor patio, private bar, and overhead projector. Private events are available seven days a week, for parties as small as 15 people. In addition to offering a full range of our favorite beers, Sugar Creek is happy to provide food services or accommodate outside catering.

The state historic site commemorates significant events in the Polk administration: the Mexican-American War, settlement of the Oregon boundary dispute, and the annexation of California. Reconstructions of typical homestead buildings—a log house, separate kitchen, and barn—are authentically furnished. The visitor center features a film on Polk's life and exhibits on his family and tumultuous presidency.
