American Italian Heritage Museum
The American Italian Heritage Museum is the largest Italian American Museum in the east. Ten rooms of exhibits and a gift shop (3,800 sq. ft.). The mission of the museum is to honor the Italian immigrants, tell their story and the contribution of Italian Americans. All of our staff are volunteers. In addition to our regular hours we are open by chance and advance appointment. Prof./Cav. Philip J. DiNovo is the founder and president. In 1994 he was knighted by the Italian government for his years of outstanding service to the Italian American community. On the second floor of the museum is the Italian Cultural Center which includes a hall, library, classroom, art gallery, chapel, small kitchen and a meeting area. The following are offered: Italian language, cooking, and genealogy classes are offered. Also cultural, concerts, movies and Italian celebrations take place. We publish a 20 page bi-monthly newsletter in English, we have a website, and a email newsletter.

Old Mission San Jose
California Historical Landmark No. 334. Mission San Jose was founded on June 11, 1797 by Father Fermin Francisco de Lasuen. This was the 14th of twenty-one Spanish missions established in Alta California. A tour through Old Mission San Jose’s historic facilities includes the Mission Museum, the Church, the historic Cemetery, and the Garden. In the Museum, an 18-minute video depicts Spanish exploration and the 1797 founding of the mission as well as day-to-day living within the mission. See Ohlone Indian artifacts, religious objects from the Franciscan period, and items from the Mission and Rancho eras. The Church is a reconstruction of the 1830s mission adobe church, built with the materials and using construction methods of that time. It also contains the rare Rosales Opus 14 Spanish Organ. The cemetery holds the graves of many prominent Spanish and American settlers, and the rose garden includes a fountain and plantings representing the original mission period.

As one of Northern California's wine pioneers, the Guglielmo (Gool-YELL-mo) family has been producing wine in the California Santa Clara Valley since it was founded by family patriarch Emilio Guglielmo in 1925. Today, third generation brothers George and Gene keep the family tradition alive by producing award-winning premium varietal wines from more than 100 acres of Santa Clara Valley estate vineyards, as well as other premium winegrowing regions within California. The Guglielmo family is very proud to continue the fine art of winemaking passed down through their family, as well as turning their family home and grounds into a place you will share and enjoy with your family and friends.

California Historical Landmark No. 334. Mission San Jose was founded on June 11, 1797 by Father Fermin Francisco de Lasuen. This was the 14th of twenty-one Spanish missions established in Alta California. A tour through Old Mission San Jose’s historic facilities includes the Mission Museum, the Church, the historic Cemetery, and the Garden. In the Museum, an 18-minute video depicts Spanish exploration and the 1797 founding of the mission as well as day-to-day living within the mission. See Ohlone Indian artifacts, religious objects from the Franciscan period, and items from the Mission and Rancho eras. The Church is a reconstruction of the 1830s mission adobe church, built with the materials and using construction methods of that time. It also contains the rare Rosales Opus 14 Spanish Organ. The cemetery holds the graves of many prominent Spanish and American settlers, and the rose garden includes a fountain and plantings representing the original mission period.
