Our mission is to preserve the past of Canada South for the education and interpretation of present and future generations. Sitting on 100 Acres, our 25000 square foot Transportation Museum showcases modes of transportation from early wooden wheel wagons all the way to the present day Viper! Our Heritage Village is a journey back in time to 15 buildings that have been placed here from all over Essex County. Our tour guides would be happy to take you back in time to learn the treasured history of our area. Our Village is open Tuesday Through Sunday May 01 - October 31st, and our Museum is open year round for tours.

The Sanctuary's living museum is home to over 30 different species of native songbirds and raptors, that due to an injury can no longer survive in the wild. These birds permanently reside at that Sanctuary as ambassadors for their species. All live bird displays are outside and wheelchair and stroller accessible. Parking is limited. Please do not park along the entrance drive or on Orweiler Road. An admission fee to enter the bird display area supports the care of our birds. $3/ child (under 2 years free) and $5/adult (16 years and over) $3 for military and individuals residing in assisted living centers. Star Worlds Arcade is locally owned and operated since 1985. Inducted into the International Registry of Historic Video Game Arcades in 2011 by Walter Day of Twin Galaxies. The McLean County Museum of History traces its roots back to 1892, the year the McLean County Historical Society was founded. It is a nationally accredited award winning museum with five permanent exhibit galleries and two rotating galleries. The Museum is located in the historic 1903 McLean County Courthouse that includes an architectural tour throughout the building. Admission is $5 for adults, $4 for senior citizens, and FREE for children and students with I.D. This educational institution is dedicated to telling the rich story of McLean County through programs which serve people of all ages. The Museum preserves 19,000 objects, makes available more than 11,500 rare and hard to find reference books, manages 1,700 feet of historical papers and images in its archives. It also houses the new Cruisin' with Lincoln on 66 Visitors Center and the McLean County Genealogical Society. Tuesdays are FREE days.

Riverside Theatre is a professional theatre and non-profit, 501 (c)(3) organization that connects artists and audiences through intimate, engaging, and provocative productions from the classics to new works, and provides an artistic home for regional theatre professionals. Riverside Theatre was founded by Ron Clark, Jody Hovland and Bruce Wheaton in 1981 and is now in its 42nd season. From September through May we produce a full season of work at our theatre on Gilbert Street. In June and July, we produce a summer season centered around the classics. We are affiliated with Actors’ Equity Association, the union of professional actors and stage managers in the United States, employing actors and designers from all over the country and provide housing, salary, and transportation to visiting actors and directors during their employment at Riverside.

This city park is loaded with features which are free to the public including trails, labyrinth, gardens, lake, splash pads (summer only) and playgrounds. There is a Senior Center that has activities and lunch (for a fee). During the summer months, there is a concessions stand and rentals available (for a fee). There are two air-conditioned facilities to rent for gatherings (for a fee). Great place to relax, play, walk, explore, fish, kayak, picnic, meet and much more! Open to the public, the Idaho Falls Temple grounds are a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. Visitors can walk through the colorful gardens lined with towering trees, sit by the fountains and cascading waterfall, enjoy the beautiful view of the Snake River, and feel the peace of the grounds. While you're there, you can take a guided tour at the Visitors' Center. Or, during the pandemic, take a virtual tour from anywhere in the world!

Once the site of Utah Territorial Prison, this park is a lot more pleasant today, with a gently rolling landscape great for running.
