The Sanctuary's living museum is home to over 30 different species of native songbirds and raptors, that due to an injury can no longer survive in the wild. These birds permanently reside at that Sanctuary as ambassadors for their species. All live bird displays are outside and wheelchair and stroller accessible. Parking is limited. Please do not park along the entrance drive or on Orweiler Road. An admission fee to enter the bird display area supports the care of our birds. $3/ child (under 2 years free) and $5/adult (16 years and over) $3 for military and individuals residing in assisted living centers. No entry or hiking the trails before or after open hours (Open: Tues-Sat 10am-4pm, Sun 12 noon-4pm)

The Western Heritage Center is a regional museum whose collections, exhibits and programs tell the stories of life in the Yellowstone River Valley. Located in historic downtown Billings, the building that houses the Western Heritage Center is the former Parmly Billings Memorial Library, a Richardsonian Romanesque structure listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Accredited by the American Association of Museums and an Affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, the Western Heritage Center provides both long term and changing exhibits with interactive components, as well as educational programs for visitors of all ages. The museum cares for over 16,000 artifacts and an extensive collection that illustrates and documents the history of the Yellowstone River Valley.

Step back in time and learn about Gallatin County’s heritage. The Gallatin History Museum in Bozeman offers a unique glimpse into the area’s past. Located in the former county jail building (1911 to 1982), the museum maintains displays illustrating the unique histories of a variety of people who have called Southwest Montana home. Permanent and changing exhibits feature early area history and artifacts, unique local stories, photography, a life-sized pioneer cabin, agricultural history, and jail and law enforcement displays. Visit the museum's Montana and local history bookstore and active research library. Staff are available to assist with research projects, genealogy, and photograph archive questions. The Gallatin History Museum is a 501(c)(3) non profit and does not receive any tax dollars but instead relies on memberships, donations, and memorials to operate. Members receive a magazine that features articles on local history, free admission and bookstore discounts.

During classes, paintings are broken down step by step. You truly do not need any experience to follow along and yield great results. Dawning’s Art encourages students to push their limits while having light hearted fun. Dawning promotes a stress free experience, with individual student well-being in mind. Classes are 2-3 hours long, and creative fun's what they're all about. Public Paint and Sip classes are offered regularly. Paint and Puff classes are offered once every month.
