Our 157-acre Resort is the perfect place to enjoy the beauty and comforts that Tuscarawas County has to offer. The 7-acre lake serves as the focal point of our Resort, and we welcome you to come stay with us and relax! Our camping season is May 1 to October 31 every year, and our beach is open 10am-7pm during the season, weather permitting. Camping is available daily, weekly, monthly, or seasonally, and our cottages are available for rent year round. There are various types of camping available to visitors of all kinds. We offer primitive tent sites, 30 Amp and 50 Amp electric campsites, mini cottages with bunks, and 2 bedroom cottages with all the amenities of home - kitchen with appliances, living room, full bathroom, and sleeping room for up to 8 guests. Our Resort is completed with a Clubhouse, Woody's Grille Concession Stand, Bait Shop, Shower House, and Coin Laundromat. For kids and adults of all ages, the recreation never ends! In terms of Lake activities, we have tube slides, water slides, kids' and adults' inflatable trampolines, 2 diving boards, paddle boats, electric boats, and canoe rentals. We also offer fishing, a game room, a playground, Woodpecker Par 3 Golf Course & Target Range, Putt-Putt course, and hiking trails. Planning a party or event? We can meet your needs for any occasion! Our Lakehouse Lodge has a rustic atmosphere that is perfect for class reunions, receptions, birthday parties, business events, graduation parties, weddings, and much more! We also offer 6 pavilions with grills for outdoor events.

Located on a small island in the Ohio River, Blennerhassett Island Historical State Park features a Palladian mansion on the island and museum of regional history located in Parkersburg. This unique state park is visited by 40,000 people each year. This historical park is accessed by a sternwheeler riverboat from Point Park on 2nd Street in Parkersburg. Once on the island, visitors may enjoy tours of the grounds and mansion and horse-drawn carriage rides. Tours are offered when the park is open, from May through the last weekend of October. These were the homes of some of the most influential figures in West Virginia’s early history. Note: Homes are not open to the general public except for Special Garden and Christmas home tours.
