The Bakery Museum of Furnes houses the most important collection of bakery heritage in Belgium. Through numerous activities, demonstrations and workshops, visitors can get a (litteral!) taste of how bread used to be made back in the day. The museum is located in a restored farmhouse, the 'Zuidgasthoeve' and breathes tradition and history. The permanent collection hosts a unique ensemble of objects related to sugar, ice, chocolate, waffle and speculoos production.
