Worthy of its reputation as one of South America’s best zoos, GramadoZoo is an animal reserve with a difference. Specializing in species native to Brazil and with an emphasis on animal welfare, GramadoZoo makes a welcome change for animal lovers, with spacious open living areas and most of the animals brought in as rescues. More than 1,500 animals currently inhabit the zoo, including capuchin and howler monkeys, tapir, emus and crocodiles, and a 1.800m walkways links each section. Most impressive is the huge aviary, where birds like arraras, parrots and toucans fly freely, while more dangerous creatures like jaguars, leopards and snakes can be seen from behind armored glass screens. Finally, for an even more thrilling encounter, visitors can also choose a night tour and take a peek at the zoo’s nocturnal residents.

Cristais de Gramado is the best Murano Crystal factory in Brazil and turned the visit into a spectacular experience. It is the only factory in Brazil that presents the history of Cristal Murano live in an immersive and sensorial journey. During the tour, you can see the beautiful artistic creations of master glassmakers up close and discover, like few others, the secrets of this ancient art. There are more than 2 thousand m² of surprising indoor park experiences. During the knowledge journey, it is possible to follow live the production of unique pieces, true works of art, shaped using a lot of technique and talent. The presentation of the show “A Voz do Cristal”, in which the glasses form a crystal harmonica, is another magical moment offered to visitors.
