30 East Drive, The Black Monk of Pontefract
30 East Drive, Pontefract WF8 2AN England
30 East Drive first came to the attention of residents of Pontefract back in the late 60's when the Pritchard family became subject to the most incredible poltergeist haunting of all time. The movie 'When the Lights Went Out' brought this house (unknown beyond the borders of Yorkshire) to the world and has since been opened to the public. Unlike the accepted version of ‘poltergeists requiring the energy of adolescent children to create havoc, only to dissipate once the child becomes an adult’ - whatever resides at number 30 is still very much in residence. It is for this reason that the owner recommends that you a) don't visit b) should you insist in visiting - only do so it you full appreciate that SPIRITS ARE NOT PERFORMING MONKEYS. He also recommends that you read 'The Black Monk of Pontefract' to discover what has happened to other visitors before committing yourself.
