Rue d'Orbais 2, Perwez 1360 Belgium

This private museum is located in the beautiful village of Malèves (city of Perwez) in the former stables of the family farm. It presents the history of the World War II in the Perwez area. The periods of the 1940 invasion, the occupation and the 1944 liberation are presented as seen on a local scale. The collection consists of several thousand objects as well as more than forty mannequins arranged in little scenes in order to place the material in the context of the war period. Civilian objects also adds to this material to remember the difficulties endured by them during the last world war. Showcases are also visible to submit documents and small antique artefacts. Pictures documents and archive movies complete the visit.
