We focus on nature-based solutions to return native species and in recreating truly wild spaces. Our parks in Kent and Devon are amazing and inspirational places, visitors can see over 200 native animals from the past and present as they walk though beautiful woodlands. From bears and bison to red squirrels, otters, wolves and beavers. The parks also act as our conservation centers where we breed for release endangered species. By kindling a passion for wildlife, we can motivate their sense of responsibility to safeguard it. Wildwood brings the wonder of our natural world to life through our ancient woodland wildlife parks.

Facing Telford Terrace is a quaisi Victorian sunken garden, erected to celebrate the twinning of Waltrop and Herne Bay. The sundial on the seaward side is a gift from Waltrop, designed by the burgermeister Herr Jochen Mungner. In the centre of the garden is a Portland stone fountain given to the town in 1888 by London Alderman Col. Horatio Davies, who became Lord Mayor of London. (This fountain was originally located near the clock tower).
