An independent social history museum situated in a medieval house of Malta's ancient harbour. The house is witness to the development of Maltese houses over three millennia. On site findings witness to Paleolithic and Neolithic human activity. From a modest farmhouse of Classical Antiquity, the building was remodelled during the early Arab era and developed into a palazzino at the end of the 16th century. The history of the building runs through various important stages of Maltese and Mediterranean history. The exhibits include various curios from the daily life of past generations and artefacts found on site. The museum holds various indoor, outdoor, cultural and edutainment activities including Ghost Walks and Walks around Bormla and the adjacent cities. Booking by prior appointment via SMS is requested.
