Founded in 1914, the Rosamond Gifford Zoo at Burnet Park is home to more than 700 animals representing 275 species, many of them endangered or threatened in the wild. Casa Larga Vineyards – We are now celebrating 45 years of producing award winning Finger Lakes wines. In 1974, Mr. C planted the first two acres in Fairport, NY, naming it Casa Larga after his grandparents' vineyards in Italy. The first harvest came in 1978 and won three awards at the NYS Wine Competition. Estate White (currently Pallido) and Estate Red (currently Tramonto) were those first wines. Mr. C's dream came true and passion, patience and tenderness were his gifts to the vines and the wines they produced. Mr. C's hobby matured into a larger business, and Casa Larga became the 21st licensed winery in New York State. Casa Larga has now entered the golden era of New York State winemaking, becoming an icon, as well as a sparkling jewel of the Finger Lakes and Rochester regions. The Tennessee State Museum is located at the corner of Rosa L. Parks Blvd. and Jefferson Street at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. It is designed to bring history to life. It includes a “Tennessee Time Tunnel” chronicling the state’s rich history and leading visitors though the Museum’s permanent collection, a hands-on children’s gallery, six rotating galleries, a state-of-the art digital learning center and a two-story Grand Hall. Exhibitions include significant artifacts related to the state’s history, along with displays of art, furniture, textiles, and photographs produced by Tennesseans.
