The indoor center is open year round, featuring family friendly activities like swimming, interactive games, a gymnasium and fitness area. Splash Valley Water Park is an outdoor aquatics area open Memorial Day to Labor Day, featuring two 34-foot high slides, a sprayground and a current river. Daily admission is available to either facility.

Antique automobiles and trucks, electric and deisel locomotives, and vintage steam, are all part of the nostalgic show at this historic freight station that doubles as a museum .

The Eleanor D. Wilson Museum at Hollins University is a premiere arts destination in the Roanoke Valley and presents exhibitions and related programming that explore currents in contemporary art. Genesius Theatre is a Performance Venue that specializes in Musical Theatre. The theatre doubles as a learning center for kids by providing 2-3 kids / teen performances and 4-6 week kids summer theatre camp every year. This comedic interactive experience sends you on a mission to assist a bunch of ex-cons lookin’ to skip town. The journey starts near the South Street Seaport and works its way up through some of New York City's most colorful neighborhoods. Several alcoholic beverages and light appetizers are included during this three hour journey. For private groups, you can book up to 15 people. Basic pricing per person is $85.00. The Dharma Yoga New York Center is a beautiful 7,500 foot space offering yoga practices for the public 7 days a week. The Center is a testament to Sri Dharma Mittra's 50 years of teaching yoga. It is located in the bustling neighborhood of Chelsea in Manhattan, New York City. At 72 years old, Sri Dharma Mittra continues to teach here, five days a week, with 13 practices and workshops that range in focus from postures and breathing to meditation and philosophy.
