Chattanooga is the Birthplace of the Medal of Honor. Come visit the the National Medal of Honor Heritage Center in downtown Chattanooga and learn about the history of our nation's highest military award for valor, from the First Medals awarded for action in and around Chattanooga during 1863 to the present day.
