In this unforgettable experience, your tour and blending experience will take between 1.5 and 2 hours. The highlight of the afternoon will be to taste and evaluate four of our barrel-finished Maryland Rye whiskeys, and then to create your own custom blended bottle of the spirits. The B&O Railroad Museum, a full affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution and the birthplace of American Railroading, is home to the oldest, most comprehensive collection of railroad artifacts in the Western Hemisphere including an unparalleled roster of 19th and 20th century railroad equipment. The organization has operated continuously for over 100 years making Vagabond Players the oldest continuously operating community theater in the United States. Founded in the early 1900’s as a part of the vanguard of America’s “Little Theater” movement, the organization has called its current location, the Vagabond Theatre, home for over 40 years. The Pennsylvania National Fire Museum features fire apparatus from Handtubs and Steam Pumpers, hand drawn to horse drawn, to motorized Engines and a 1935 MACK tillered Ladder Truck. The John Harris-Simon Cameron Mansion was built c. 1766 by John Harris, Jr., one of the founders of Harrisburg. In 1863 it was purchased by Simon Cameron, Lincoln's first Secretary of War and later Ambassador to Russia, who transformed the Georgian house into a stylish Victorian mansion and lived there until his death in 1889. The house became the headquarters of the Historical Society of Dauphin County in 1941. Features illustrating the lives of the house's residents (1766-1929) are a large Victorian parlor, Colonial and Victorian bedrooms, spectacular Art Deco bathroom; light-filled solarium; dining room, library, office, and exhibit spaces. A large collection of furnishings and objects is on display. Tours are available Tues. through Fri. at 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 p.m.; second Sundays at 1:00. Free parking. Group rates. Historical gardens. Publications sales. The research library and archives are open Tuesday through Friday and the second and fourth Sundays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Built on a bluff overlooking the Susquehanna River, Fort Hunter Mansion and Park has served as a war fort, a hub for frontier commerce, and an exclusive private estate. Now preserved and open to the public, Fort Hunter Mansion and Park invites you to explore Pennsylvania's rich history. Guided tours of Fort Hunter Mansion are available every day but Mondays, May through December. Admission is charged.Fort Hunter Park is open free to the public, daily from 8 am - dusk.
