The Legendary Green Man has existed for centuries but it’s no myth that he’s been brewing great beer in Asheville since 1997. As home to one of North Carolina’s oldest breweries, tasting rooms and sour programs, Green Man has been producing some of the beer scene’s most iconic ales for many years. We are consistently recognized for our internationally loved traditional English styles and creative versions of the newest craft trends. Our brewers strive to bring innovative and exciting new flavors to all beer-loving folks. From Asheville’s first tasting room to one of Downtown Asheville’s largest tasting rooms, our storied growth has brought us to 2 brew houses, 3 tasting rooms, and 2 buildings. Our newest facility in Asheville’s South Slope Neighborhood is a 3 story, 22,000 sqft. packaging hall and specialty brewhouse including a “brewtique” and an indoor/outdoor taproom loft overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains.
