An exciting new escape room establishment in Loudoun County! Escape Room activities are an exciting way to foster collaborative thinking and problem solving. Each group must work together to solve problems; ranging from small and simple, to complex and multi-part problems.

The Franklin County Historical Society - Kittochtinny has been the county's historical society since 1898 and resides in the Old Jail, built in 1818. Guests may take a guided tour the original and 1880 cell blocks, dungeons, exercise yard, and other areas of the building. Admission: Adults $8, children $7, family rates available. See website for details. The tour involves going up and down steps and takes about an hour. A four room genealogy library is available to guests on the second floor of the jail. Librarians are on duty to assist with research. The Society also operates the John Brown House. Report to the jail first if taking a tour of the John Brown House. The gift shop is open to walk ins during open hours.

This city park is loaded with features which are free to the public including trails, labyrinth, gardens, lake, splash pads (summer only) and playgrounds. Open to the public, the Idaho Falls Temple grounds are a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. Visitors can walk through the colorful gardens lined with towering trees, sit by the fountains and cascading waterfall, enjoy the beautiful view of the Snake River, and feel the peace of the grounds. While you're there, you can take a guided tour at the Visitors' Center. Or, during the pandemic, take a virtual tour from anywhere in the world!

Once the site of Utah Territorial Prison, this park is a lot more pleasant today, with a gently rolling landscape great for running.

This 20,000 square mile lake, the second saltiest in the world, is also a wildlife refuge attracting millions of migratory birds every year to the ten islands within it.
