The Aviation Wing is a growing collection of aircraft displayed on a 15 acre campus conveniently located 4.5 miles west of I-75, this museum highlights the impact the aviation industry has had on our local culture. We will show how aviation catapulted our fairly typical, small, Southern agricultural community into the industrial age and how Cobb County has impacted global events. In development of this facility, we also seek to interest America’s youth in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) disciplines through exposure to the science and physics of aeronautics and astronautics.
