The first era of the Lexington Brewing Co. began in the 1890s and came to a halt during Prohibition, changing ownership several times in the decades that followed. By the time Pearse Lyons and his son, Mark, explored the brewery in 1999, it was a dilapidated shell of what it had once been. However, Pearse was a visionary and entrepreneur and saw only what it could be. Spurred by a passion for brewing and distilling that courses through the Lyons family lineage of Irish coopers, Pearse revived Lexington Brewing Co. and restored a craft beer tradition that dates back to the 1700s. Pearse continued to dream big as he set his sights on distilling — a natural progression given his background in fermentation, his family’s heritage and Kentucky’s bourbon tradition. Two copper pot stills that were commissioned from Scotland arrived at Lexington Brewing Co. in 2008. In 2012, Town Branch Distillery opened, first new distillery to be built in Lexington, Kentucky, in more than 100 yrs.

Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill is a landmark destination rooted in the spirit of the Kentuckians that called this place home for more than a century. Onsite amenities include overnight accommodations, dining and catering services, retail shops, historical exhibitions and tours, a farm and garden area, a nature preserve, multi-use trail system, riverboat rides, equestrian stable and an extensive calendar of special programs, activities and events.

Built in the heart of Louisville, the ANGEL’S ENVY Distillery is downtown’s first fully operational whiskey production facility. Co-founded in 2010 by the late Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson, ANGEL’S ENVY began as a passion project that combined their family’s deep-rooted passion for and knowledge of the industry with an innovative outlook on bourbon making and finishing. ANGEL’S ENVY opened the doors in 2016 and puts you in the center of our distilling process for a unique tour experience.

Dedicated on April 20, 1992, Panther Creek Park features 4 screened-in shelters and 3 open air pavilions. Screened-in shelters are available for rental April 1 - October 31 each year where many groups host company picnics, family reunions and birthday parties. Wedding are frequently held at the two gazebos in the park. The park also boasts a 6 acre lake that is regularly stocked by the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife. Waterfowl and turtles also call the lake home, making it a wonderful educational experience. Fishing guidelines follow those of the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife and are posted at the park. Seven walking trails wind throughout the park with 1,800 feet of unique elevated trails. Visitors are invited to explore the wetlands as well as wooded areas. Trails are handicapped accessible. Six ball diamonds are available, accommodating softball and baseball.

Preservation Station Market, Restaurant, and Event Center is a 39,000 fully heated and air-conditioned former elementary school transformed into an antique, unique, boutique and vintage country mall and restaurant with over 60 permanent shops. Open daily Thursday through Sunday 10 am -5 pm. The restaurant on-site serves Southern favorites and is open Thursday through Saturday (Lunch Menu) and Sunday (Buffet) 10 am - 2 pm. The facility can also be rented.
