The Washington D.C. Temple Visitors’ Center is open to the public Monday to Sunday from 10:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. and is a great place to learn more about Jesus Christ and feel His love. Interactive displays, beautiful art, and exciting events throughout the year are just a few of the many features of the visitors’ center. Please invite your friends and family to attend with you. Admission and parking are free.

The major exhibition The Story of North Carolina features fascinating artifacts, multimedia presentations, and an interactive format for all ages. Other exhibits highlight the state's military history, sports heroes, decorative arts and more. Monthly programs include children's programs, craft demonstrations and family events. The Museum Shop, featuring North Carolina crafts, and the on-site restaurant Pharaoh's at the Museum are open daily. Admission is free, although some special exhibits require a fee. Free parking is available on weekends in the Jones/Edenton Street lot. Museum hours are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.

State Fairgrounds, The Raleigh Market is recognized as one of the Top 10 flea markets in the U.S. Each weekend, indoor and outdoor vendors showcase vintage goods and antiques, collectibles, new items, thrift items, crafts, art, jewelry and so much more. Food trucks, farm stands and fair food ensure customers do not leave hungry! The Raleigh Market is open Saturdays and Sundays, 9 am - 5 pm. Admission and parking are free.

Soda City Market is a producer-only market — vendors must make or grow their own products (including out of season/exotic fruits and vegetables, antiques, and vintage items). The Woodrow Wilson Boyhood Home, a National Historic Landmark, is located at 419 7th St. within the boundaries of the Augusta Downtown Historic District. The Boyhood Home of President Woodrow Wilson serves as a house museum depicting the life of the 28th President as a boy growing up in Georgia during the Civil War and Reconstruction. As the oldest Presidential residence in the state, it serves as an educational facility and a historic attraction for the City of Augusta, the State of Georgia and the Nation. It is owned and operated by Historic Augusta, Inc.

Step back in time at Meadow Garden, home of George Walton, signer of the Declaration of Independence. Built in 1791, the historic house museum has been open to the public for more than 120 years. Guided tours are available Monday-Friday, 10:00AM to 4:00. Tours are available on Saturday by appointment.
