Sutcliffe Vineyards
Specialties - A hidden gem, offering daily wine tastings, special wine dinners, and western hospitality. This charming canyon vineyard boasts brilliant wines that express so perfectly the commitment and authenticity of the vineyards. History - Established in 1995. In 1990, John Sutcliffe bought Battlerock Ranch, initially to farm hay, raise livestock, and tend a small orchard. "We grow wine" sounds too simple a way to describe ourselves, yet it illustrates the importance Sutcliffe places on the farming of the vineyard. We plant, nurture, train and prune our vines: we harvest, sort, press and ferment our grapes, then finish and bottle our wine. Every element of the process is conducted here in our beautiful, isolated vineyard. Our first vines were planted in 1995, and by 1999 we had attained a producer's license. In 2001 we released our first vintage, the 1999 Merlot and 1999 Cabernet Franc. Both wines received a great reception; further vines were planted and flourished.

La Conner Waterfront Day Spa
I have been blessed with an amazing career, over the past 27 years as a massage therapist. I worked at the Bellevue Pro Club and had a private practice in Kirkland working with the Sonics, Seahawks, and the Mariners! Collectively, over a 12 year span, body mechanics became my specialty with this elite group of athletes. Well respected by many coaches and doctors in the sports medicine industry, I’ve been able to apply this knowledge to my current clients in my day spa. This is like retirement, working on average size people, adding sugar scrubs, spa facials, and teaching couples how to work with each other, creating experiences, slowing down the pace, (I pride myself in not being the drive through window). I still absolutely love what I do! I enjoy giving you feedback that can help you with everyday ergonomics of life!
