Cowgirls and Cowboys in the West is a Western Heritage attraction located on the rim of Palo Duro Canyon, in Amarillo, Texas- near historic Route 66. The Wichita Falls Museum of Art at Midwestern State University is an academic museum with deep community roots. Accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, it has a combined purpose to integrate art into the life of the community and the liberal arts mission of MSU Texas. Located on the south campus, the WFMA offers ample free parking and is a gateway to the popular Sikes Lake walking trail. Rotating exhibitions of art feature works from the Permanent Collection and by guest artists. We strengthen the Texas Woman's University education by connecting our community to information and library services in a historic building. We are home to the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) national archives at Texas Woman’s University. The growing collection is available for viewing and research as part of the Woman’s Collection. The archives include documents, reports, trainee handbooks, military records and artifacts which catalog the experimental program between 1942 and 1944 when women trained and flew while enlisted in the Armed Forces of America.

Messina Hof Grapevine Winery is located in Historic Downtown Grapevine at The Wallis Hotel. The original Wallis Hotel was built in 1891 by Johnny Wallis for his sister, Susan. The Wallis Hotel often accommodated traveling salesmen and other agricultural business leaders. The Wallis family ran the hotel until 1926, and it was eventually torn down in the 1930s. A replica was built on Main Street, which is where Messina Hof Grapevine calls home, many original pieces are on display in the winery. Many have often stopped to take a picture with the, "Sidewalk Judge", who sits on the park bench outside the hotel and monitors everyone's comings and goings. A salute to Grapevine's old-timers who could determine if a stranger who had come to town was in trouble or down on his luck. This location is Messina Hof’s first urban winery and also features multiple tasting areas with 40 different wines, tastings & premium flights, wine on tap by the glass or growler, gourmet food items & accessories.
