Built in 1972, Jean-Vilar theater is a place for creation and presentation of multidisciplinary live performances. Its modular design, with a stage, tiered seating and movable walls, means that it is possible to create multiple relationships between the auditorium and the stage. Since its creation, the theatre has built up a close relationship with the local community over the seasons, through artist partnerships and partnerships with educational and community organisations.
