Museum Sonderskov is a museum of cultural history. It lies in a manor built by the nobleman Thomas Juel in 1614-20 and displays the region's exciting history. Between 1986 and 192 the manor underwent extensive restaurations saving it from a ruin. The result is outstanding af simply beautiful. The museum has scenic surroundings; a moat, a deer garden, a system of paths, among them Møllestien (the Mill path) and a kitchen and herb garden tended by a group of dedicated volunteers. Visiting Museet Sonderskov you can also enjoy a meal in the cellar of the manor in a renown restaurant.
