Welcome to Tequila Tour by Mickey Marentes! Join us on a journey of the senses to learn all about tequila, its history and traditions, making process and of course, taste this fine spirit! This is a different tour; we favor a local approach; promoting small and non-industrial artisanal brands and leading the tour on a reduced scale. We make it our mission to bring acknowledgment and recognition to their hard work and the excellence of their product. All our tours are led by bilingual, knowledgeable, friendly and passionate local guides who have at heart to provide an unforgettable experience. All tours can be offered in English, Spanish or both. All relevant information, including itineraries, costs and availability can be found on our webpage; the link is featured underneath our profile photo.

The building that houses it dates from 1820 and since then belongs to the Sauza family; It was built as a house-room and over the years it functioned as an educational center and house of culture, sponsored by Mr. Francisco Javier Sauza. Among the numerous objects and pieces of art exhibited, there is a mural by the master Gabriel Flores, allusive to the development and evolution of tequila, from pre-Hispanic times to the present; all the recognitions granted to the Sauza Tequila from 1873 to 1987, such as the Gold Cup of Good French Taste; paintings by Guillermo Chávez Vega; a rustic kitchen; agricultural implements; memories of the television program Noches Tapatías; photographs of the town of Tequila; archaeological pieces of the region
