Church Farm Ardeley is a not-for-profit community interest farming, food, care and education enterprise. We aim to enhance the countryside, provide people with special needs the opportunity to learn and grow, conserve wildlife and farm ecologically. We are open for day visitors to the farm from 9am-5pm everyday. Farm Day Pass includes parking and entrance to the farm. Explore the farm and feed our animals on our Feed the Animals Farm Trail. See Cattle, Sheep, Pigs and Poultry and naturally grown fruit and vegetables. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Our camping, cabins and glamping are open. Pre-order meats, farm produce, logs, charcoal and all your camping essentials at our online farm shop. Farm shop, café and pub are open 7 days. Farm Food Boxes available for delivery, meat, veg, fruit and essentials direct to your door.

Cromer Windmill

Cromer Windmill - Hertfordshire's sole surviving windmill and a grade II* listed building dates from 1681, as determined by a dendrochronological survey conducted in 1998. It stands on an artificial mound just outside Cromer, near Ardeley, in which parish a windmill has stood for nearly 800 years. Cromer Windmill is open 2.30pm to 5.00pm on Sundays and the second and fourth Saturdays from mid-May until mid-September and also the late Spring Bank Holiday Monday and the August Bank Holiday Monday; groups at other times by appointment.
