Western Development Museum

Located on Treaty 4 and Treaty 6 territories and the Homeland of the Métis, the Western Development Museum (WDM) is the largest human history museum in Saskatchewan. With a collection of over 75,000 artifacts ranging from pins to locomotives and four locations in the province, the WDM shares the Saskatchewan story from the beginning of settlement to present day. HOURS Museum Galleries and gift shop are open Tuesday to Wednesday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, Thursday from 9:00 am – 8:00 pm and Friday to Sunday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. The Boomtown Cafe is open Tuesday to Sunday from 8:30 am – 4:00 pm. Museum Closed on Family Day, Good Friday, Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.
