Created in 1886, Rivière du Mât is one of the oldest distilleries on Reunion Island still in operation today. Faithful to this heritage, the Master Distiller continues this ancestral know-how to the highest standards and precision, enabling Rivière du Mât Rhums to preserve their reputation through the centuries. Located in Saint-Benoît, the Distillery produces Rhums from molasses from sugar cane plantations, revealing all the richness of expression of the Reunion island terroir. Come and discover this pioneering distillery in sustainable development and the secret of the Great Rhums of Reunion island. Visits are paid and must be reserved in advance. Three visits per day (reservation only) from Tuesday to Saturday at 10:30 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Boutique and free tasting included. Free parking and access for people with reduced mobility.
