Sit on the hard wooden seats in a 3rd class compartment and try your hand at driving a steam locomotive. Join us on a journey through Denmark's railway history The 21 tracks display a range of iconic locomotives and carriages. Take a look inside the royal carriages, experience what it was like to travel 3rd class, check out the snow plough and see what a train compartment from the 1970s looked like. You can even see the orange tractor from the Danish film "Olsen-banden på sporet" (the Olsen Gang on the Track). The Compartment of Dreams is a sensory exhibition about interrailing and train journeys to foreign destinations.
