The Île-de-France Prehistory museum is a museum in the département of Seine-et-Marne that has a regional outlook. It presents the prehistory of the Paris region, from the first vestiges providing evidence of human presence to the end of the Gallic period. The bare cast concrete and glass building is the work of the architect and town planner Roland Simounet. With its six inner gardens, it stands in undergrowth scattered with granite rocks and is fully open to the surrounding natural environment. It is registered in the supplementary inventory of Historic Monuments and has been awarded the French "20th Century Heritage" label.
