Roosevelt Park Zoo was established in 1921, making it the oldest zoo in North Dakota. Home to more than 65 species (170+ individuals), our residents include: giraffe, lion, okapi, black-footed penguins, red panda, amur tiger, camel, bear, otter, wolf, bison and many more. The center's indoor All Seasons Arena provides seating for over 6,000 people and its on-site catering and concessions service has capabilities to accommodate a sit down meal for 5 to 5,000 guests. In addition, North Dakota State Fair Center provides a wide variety of equipment on rental basis for various event requirements.
