Glass Heritage Centre
Blich 2, Krosno 38-400 Poland
The greatest attraction of the main building are the spectacular presentations of glass production. During the demonstrations, artistic and decorative objects are created before the eyes of the audience. You can also try your hand at blowing a glass mould yourself. The excursion program also includes glass processing and decoration workshops: glass painting workshop, engraving workshop, stained glass production and the production of glass figurines using the torch method. In the building at 2 Blich Street there are also permanent exhibitions of glass products (utility, decorative and artistic glass), a shop with glass souvenirs and a cinema and conference room. In the staircase, on level -4 you can see a huge anamorphic painting (3D), measuring 80 square meters. This picture was painted by the Cracovian artist and architect Ryszard Paprocki and is the only work of its kind in Poland housed in a closed room.
