The Slim Dusty Centre, located in Slim's hometown of Kempsey, is a multi purpose facility offering Visitor Information, a Retail Shop, the Nullla Nulla Art Gallery, Dusty's Dinner Camp Cafe and of course the Famous Slim Dusty Museum. You can also find 'Nulla' the Koala from the wonderful Hello Koala's Sculpture trail residing at the centre! The Museum exhibition features objects and images from the Kirkpatrick family's own archive, as well as contributions from fans and friends all over the world. Visually rich, astonishingly varied, the display provides a look at the amazing life of Slim, Joy and their family and mates, touring the towns and villages of Australia's Outback...You can get an up close look at 'Old Purple' and Slim and Joy's last touring caravan. The Dunghutti-Ngaku Aboriginal Art Gallery was established in 2008. We celebrate the talents of established and emerging Indigenous artists from the Mid North Coast area of New South Wales, Australia. The gallery has on display a range of paintings, prints, sculptures and textiles; with both a permanent display and regularly changing exhibitions. The gallery also has for sale a range of Aboriginal themed merchandise. Dunghutti-Ngaku Aboriginal Art Gallery is a dealer member of the Indigenous Art Code, and is supported through the Australian Government's Indigenous Visual Arts Support program.

The Macleay Valley Coast Visitor Information Centre in Kempsey is located at the Slim Dusty Centre in South Kempsey. Come here to meet with friendly and informative volunteers to get all of the information you need to make the most of your visit to the region. While here you can also visit the Slim Dusty Museum and art gallery then sit back and relax in the cafe or go for a spot of shopping at the retail store. Plenty of parking available for caravans and motor homes whilst visiting the centre.
