The San Expedito Cooperative is a women's cooperative of artisans dedicated to making traditional pre-columbian Nicaraguan black pottery. Visitors to the factory see the traditional black pottery production process. We also offer extended tours of the process with hikes to local clay deposits, organized community projects, or preparation of local traditional foods.
