Visitors to Futami Roadside Station and Futami Seaside Park can enjoy a variety of seaside activities inside this scenic beachfront facility. The Futami area of the city of Iyo has been selected as having one of Japan's top 100 sunsets and is known as the "place where the setting sun pauses," and this park offers especially exceptional sunset views. Near the center of the beach is a spot called Lover's Cape. For several days around the spring and autumn equinoxes, the sunset lines up to fit perfectly in the hole in the monument on this cape. Futami Seaside Park was also first place in Ehime Prefecture to be recognized as a Lover's Sanctuary. There is also a wishing stone and a "bell of happiness" that draw many couples to visit Futami. A renovation in 2021 saw the opening of the new Mond Bleu restaurant and other new tenants. The produce market and souvenir shop also offers plenty to shop for.
