Damajagua Waterfalls is made up of 27 "waterfalls"—there are in fact only around 12 waterfalls with the rest being pools—and offer a great day of adventure just outside of Puerto Plata. You'll start your journey on a challenging jungle hike, before getting to the first waterfall. Once there, you can take on 18-foot jumps, zip down natural slides, go canyoneering, and swim through caves. Visiting with a guide and wearing a life vest and helmet is mandatory.
