The GAVA MUSEUM was founded in 1978 following the discovery of the Gava Prehistoric Mines, which are currently open to public and complete the visit to the museum. The latter has a permanent exhibition which explains the formation and transformation of the countryside, focusing on the relationship between people and their environment down through the ages.
