As we do so much hiking in our journeys through Costa Rica, we began hiking some of the trails that had been created for use by locals who were hunting (mostly) for agouti and peccary; two staples of the diet of the Costa Rican Jaguar. Via those hunting trails, we were able to discover many hidden waterfalls known only to local hunters and their families. In addition to discovering these hidden gems, we created new tourism jobs, increased environmental sustainability, and helped to educate the local communities around them. Costa Rica is known for its “Pura Vida” vibe – a state-of-mind experience that will help you slow down, take a step back from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and rediscover the meaning of peace and tranquility. Our butterfly garden is the ideal place to visit with family and friends, to enjoy of our interactive display exhibit of live butterflies, in a welcoming harmonious atmosphere full with color, from the graceful fluttering of each of our butterflies. We provide a guided tour to all of our clients. Within our facilities is the "Monarca Gastronomía" restaurant, which serves our clients from artisanal pizza cooked in a clay brick oven, to fine cuts of meat and seafood. All accompanied by national and foreign liquors, as well as delicious fruit juices made at the moment.
