Located on the Dover Air Force Base, this museum showcases the history of military aviation through exhibits and a sizeable collection of planes that have been used throughout history. Our outside aircraft ramp will be available for you to see 25 historical military aviation aircraft. Main exhibit gallery is now open for both self-guided and docent led tours. Dover Motor Speedway has hosted exciting racing and entertainment events for national and international guests for more than 50 years. The green flag dropped on Dover Motor Speedway events on July 6, 1969, when Richard Petty won that day’s Mason-Dixon 300 by six laps.
