The Cala Gonone Acquarium is placed in a marvellousMediterranean park. The exhibit, projected as an acquatic journey from the shore to the dephts passing trough coral reefs, displays different ecosystems of the Mediterranean Sea in 24 entertaining and educational tanks, with great attention on typical organism living in our sea.

A unique experience suited to all in the family for discovering Sardinian traditions. S’Abba Frisca is the largest ethnographic museum in Sardinia, brought to life through the restoration of an old agricultural property and set in exceptional natural parkland with fountains, cascades and plants of the Mediterranean maquis. During the tour you can visit the antique shepherd’s hut called Su Cuile, as well as a blacksmith’s workshop, the manor house with its collection of traditional garments, weapons and jewels, and rooms for working with wool, baking bread, and making olive oil and wine and much more. An extensive area is dedicated to farm animals, a kitchen garden and a pathway for sampling scents of aromatic herbs. The open air museum buzzes with activity when artisans present their Living Museum demonstrations on scheduled days during the year.

The Archaeological Museum of Dorgali houses a vast collection of finds from archaeological research and excavations (the domus de janas of Marras, the dolmen of Motorra, the caves of Bue Marino, the village of Serra Orrios, the giant's tomb of Thomes, Nuraghe Arvu, the cave of Ispinigoli, Tiscali, and Nuraghe Mannu), surface collections, findings from the caves and at random in the territory of Dorgali which is particulary rich in archaeological remains.
