The Vietnam Unit Memorial Monument is a large, flag adorned memorial wall and three "brown water" Navy boats that honor the Navy and Coast Guard personnel who died while supporting Naval operations during the Vietnam war. It's a park-like setting that includes a picnic table and awning. The monument is located on the Naval Amphibious Base on Coronado. If you do not have a Department of Defense ID to access the military base, you will need an escort.
