The picturesque Wasserschloss Klaffenbach, located on the southern outskirts of Chemnitz, was built in the 16th century and has now been turned into a cultural meeting point of a very special kind. The Art Nouveau villa is a highlight of the European Henry van de Velde Route. Today it serves as a conference venue, event setting and location and houses the first Henry van de Velde museum in Germany.
