The Vitoria a Minas Railroad Passenger Train is the only train that carries out daily long-distance trips in Brazil. In approximately 13 hours, it travels over 664 km, between Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, and Cariacica, Espirito Santo. Along the way, the passengers can safely contemplate beautiful scenery, get to know historical facts and enjoy a comfortable ride. In 2014, the entire Vitoria a Minas Passenger fleet was upgraded, offering more modern and comfortable cars to people who use rail transportation on a daily basis. Over one Million people take the Passenger Train every year. During the trip, the train passes through historic cities and beautiful landscapes, encouraging tourism in the region and contributing to the development of various communities.
